trail and error. may or may not work for the puppy, wait til it grows out of puppy hood to decide on anything. your vet can help

I agree some animals need chill pills and mood pills to help the sseen normal. they are like people but different.

I think it can be a very good thing for some dogs - if used correctly. The main problem, in my mind, is that in this society that wants what it wants instantly, this pill is going to become the "quick fix" and people will be too lazy to do the behaviour modification training that's supposed to go hand-in-hand with the pill. And keeping a neurotic dog on pills for the duration of its lifetime is not a good thing.

What is this world coming to when they have such a thing as puppy Prozac. That is so unreal to me. First there is a cage, second there are shock collars, bark collars, and now you tell me there is puppy Prozac. When did dogs stop becoming pets and started to become a nuance that people can't cope with. Throw the dog in a cage for 8 hours, why not that will teach them.. Throw shock collars or bark collars on the dog why not. that will teach them..Throw Prozac at the poor little puppy cause he is doing what puppies do , run around and have fun. But don't forget only professional are allowed to do this. Give me a feaken break. Dogs are pets they were not to be cut out to be using cages, shock collars or what ever you all do to them.. Now there is Prozac. I will never understand how I had animals all these years and not once did I have to use any means like this on my dogs. Ok I am done yelling about this..It is just not right to do this to pets. You can't cope with a pet , not just you but anyone, then you all shouldn't have any.

Well as my cousin once said and is a vet tech. The people don't like it give them the tranquiler not the dog.
so in a nutshell. Think someone else needs the prozac not the dog. And puppies will be puppies until they are 2. then you will notice a huge diffrence in them. Take a chill pill and deal with it till your puppy grows up. Thats like giving your baby prozac, because they color on the walls or spit out there food.
