What is the best size crate for two small dogs?

I found one that is 24'L 18'W 21'H %26 the other is 30'L 21'W 24'H. MY yorkies are only 10 and 8 pounds, and are not getting any bigger. These would be used to train them and when I am gone during the day. Please help. I dont want them to be to small for my guys

Are they house trained already? If so, it shouldn't be a problem if you can go with the bigger ones. If they are not, go with one that they can only lay down and turn around in. Otherwise, they may relieve themselves in one corner and lie down in another, which defeats the purpose of crating. You should also make sure you have one crate for each dog so each dog gets their own space. Kind of like having your own retreat.
A box just a bit bigger than the dog is perfect. You don't want them to have a lot of extra room, think of a den a dog would dig itself. They don't dig huge dens. They need to feel safe and secure. If they get along well, you could just let them share a box too.
