What is the breed of this dog?

My friend has a dog which she got from a family friend when she was very little and doesn't remember the breed of the dog. We're guessing it's some type of terrier but we're not exactly sure. She's looked through a lot of dog books and online pages and she can't decide what it is. So I wondering if someone knew.

Here's the link:

I would have to see it from the side, but it looks like a Silky Terrier from that view.
My little mutt is half Silky..and super smart !!

The Silky Terrier was originally developed in 19th century Australia from other terrier breeds such as the Skye and Cairn but primarily the Australian Terrier and the Yorkshire Terrier. American servicemen stationed in Australia during World War II brought Silky Terriers home with them after the war. %26lt; http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/silkyterrier...

The only real way to tell is to bring the dog to the vet and ask.

I think it looks like a Yorkie x Schnauzer
it does look like some sort of terrier, i'm sure, but if she cant find its breed, then its most likely a mix of a few terrier breeds.
sorry if i'm not any help, but good luck anyway...
Terrier mix - very cute looks similar to dog star 'Benji '
Looks like a yorkshire terrier crossed with a medium sized breed.
the body looks like a yorkshire terrier but the head? anyways its super cute!
yorkshire terrier
Looks like the dog we rescued out of a dumpster. The vet thought she resembled a yorkie/schnauzer mix. About 15 lbs %26 very silky hair.
idk, but i want him.. he's cute
YEEE THATS MY DOG!
and i dont want this to be spam
so uh
i think...
she's a yorkshire/schnauzer?
(:
i'm pretty sure its an australian terrier
yorkie is in there for sure
Without a size comparison or a weight.I'd guess a Lhasa cross or a Terrier mix. The color can come from a lot of different breeds.
LMAO!
NOT a "breed" %26 sure as shi* NOT a terrier!
MUTT/MONGREL!!
PERIOD!
The body looks like an Australian Silky Terrier or Yorkshire Terrier but the head is throwing me off completely. Possibly a cross between several small/medium sized Terriers. It's very hard to tell - I wouldn't worry about it. You could ask a vet or send the picture to a small Terrier breeder via e-mail and ask if they can recognize the breed.
it looks like a lasa and yorkie mix to me and it is cute .
looks like a Yorkie/ West Highland Terrier mix. Cute!
