What is the least vicious dog breed ?

Answers:
weiner dogs
there is no such thing

any dog can be vicious if not socialized and trained right from a young age
Golden Retrievers and Collies
To be honest all dog breeds can be equally vicious. It's all in the owner and their training and on the dogs bite. Good Luck
Yup, there is no such thing. The least vicious dog is a dog that has the best home.
chichuach haha it cant hurt a fly if it tryed!
Any dog can be vicsious or non viscious it all depends on the breeder and owner. I have a pitbull mix and she thinks that she is a 60lb lap dog. I have seen rottweilers that are 110lb lap dogs...Just train it well.
it is not the dogs it is the owner if u let him be vicios he will
It all depends on how you raise them. Pit bulls have a bad rap but if they are raised with love they are just as nice as any dog. I personally love Labs. They are sweet, affectionate, and desperate to please. A sweet small breed is mini dachshund or cocker spaniels. but like i said it all just depends on how they are raised. Pound dogs sometimes make the best pets. It just takes love and care.
there is no such thing as a "vicious dog breed"
however if you are not a strong leader then I'd stay clear of dogs that need strong leaders (so no rots, sheps, pits, that sort of thing)
some breeds just need stronger leaders than others and if not given a strong enough leader then ANY DOG CAN BE MISJUDGED AS "VICIOUS" but no dog is actually vicious, just untrained or uncontrolled
there is no such thing. the way a dog acts depends on the individual animal and how the owner trains it, not on the breed.
I have a wheaton terrier, and if you don't mind a lot of energy, he is the PERFECT dog. He is so sweet and would never hurt a fly. And hes so soft and cute!
A Pug for sure.
The least vicious? I'd say one that is fast asleep, or being cuddled by his mom. Any dog, any breed, will be territorial it is their nature. As for most vicious, any dog that has had a bad childhood, just like humans, they are products of their environments. I've met sweet, docile pitbulls and I heard that a terrier is little dog that you really don't want to mess with. And we all know that Chihuahuas have that Napoleon complex going on. Mine honestly feel that they have to prove something, it's hilarious.
The "BOBBING HEAD" variety usually seem in the rear window of vintage automobiles. thus far have NEVER attacked anything! ;-)

Seriously, it is unwise to generalize to much, as breeding, interaction, and environment will probably compose 90% of the likelihood of aggressiveness.
.
Everybody who said "no such thing as a non vicious breed" is correct. That said, many "experts" tend to suggest golden retrievers/Labrador retrievers for homes with children. so I am gunna go with Retrievers (again though, no guarantee just better odds)
Here's a tip. Be cruel to a dog=vicious dog. Be sweet and kind a dog= nice and well-behaved dog. So really it depends on you. if you buy it from a breeder It depends on you if you adopt it from the shelter or find it on the street it depends on its past. But any mean dog can be turned into a kind dog. it just takes time and patice. Hope this helps.=)
There is not such thing as a least vicious dog breed any dog can be vicious it is based on the training and socialization of the dog. I would not recommend a Chihuahua, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman Pincher, or Miniature Pincher.

I raise (12)Saint Bernard's they have never even snarled at a fly!
Less VICIOUS? It all depends on how you TREAT the dog as to how he/she acts.
I can own a Pit Bull and 99.99999% guarentee you the dog will be just as sweet and gentle as my Black Lab.
Any breed of dog can be a vicious killer, likewise any breed of dog can be as gentle as a teddy bear. Temperment is hereditary but the upbringing of the dog plays a HUGE roll in how they act. An owner must teach a dog proper household manners and let them know what is acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Likewise the owner must know how to properly discipline their dog, for example never hitting the dog. Striking a dog can cause them to lash out. So even though a dogs temperment is determined through its breeding the owner is the one and only one who can make it a vicious dog.
I have owned Shih Zhus all my life and while the male dogs have serious attitudes female shi zhus are great and never vicious
Strangly enough English Bull Dogs have one of the sweetest tempermants. But you can find a good dog regardless of their breed i have a cattle dog mix shes a sweetheart one of my friends has a pure bred pitt bull and she wouldnt hurt a fly shes very submissive. Just dont assume a certain breed of dog is vicious just because of the stereotypes. There are dogs that were trained to be mean and have those traits like the pittbull, rotwieler etc but all of them if raised in a loving and social home can turn out to be the most loving dogs ever. if youre looking for a dog you should check the local animal shelters and humane societies stray dogs tend to be the best type because theyve been on the street and know what a good life really means and theyll be your best friend plus youll help save a dogs life :D dont go just for the breed either go for the dogs personality. Muts rule!
There is no such thing as a vicious dog...it's how well they are socialized and treated.
Not exactly sure how to answer this one with out stepping on peoples toes.... The best I can do is tell the truth so people will understand..

We all have different breeds that we think are great dogs.

No matter what the breed, large or small. If they are vicious they are all in the same category.

Some breeds are more agressive then others, and yet all dogs even the most docile can turn if pushed to the limit.
I agree with what most people are saying on here about no vicious breed... It really does depend on traing and upbringing... but i do have 2 english bulldogs that are the sweetest and most people loving dogs I have ever had... they are so tolerant of my kids my kids could do anything to them and they take it.
