What is the cone thing called that a dog wears after a surgical procedure?

I'm looking for a cone for my dog to wear around his head but I'm having problems finding them on-line. Does anyone know what the vet term is for the cone a pet wears after they've had a surgical procedure?
Answers:
You can buy the e-collar at a good pet store. I highly recommend Jeffers Pet online. They have always been reliable, reputable and cost effective for me.

Here's a link to the collars.
E-Collar. E is for Elizabethan, like Shakespeare/Queen Elizabeth I. Cool Huh? Most "big box" petstores carry them.
Elizabethan, Kong makes a good inexpensive one. But some vet offices will give it away for free or for less money than a pet store.
It is called a e-collar...short for Elizabethan collar

Elizabethan collar. A lot of vet clinics sell them for $10-$25, depending on the size you need. You can also get them at good pet stores but are generally a bit more expensive. If your dog has recently had surgery, you should have got one from the vet already. Just go back and ask for one if that is the case.
Just in case you're in England, they're often called Buster Collars over here - the most common trade name.
