What is the best bread of dogs for a 2 year old baby?

Answers:
the best bread of dog would be one made of flour, yeast and a pinch of love.
English Bulldogs,Beagles and Rotweillers. Small dogs are not recommended.
A stuffed one would be best. Ty makes some really cute stuffed dogs! I have a stuffed lab and it is so soft and nice!
mastifs, even though they're a larger breed they're very good with children and are born protectors
golden retrievers are known for their placidness, border collies are both placid and very intelligent, dont go for jack russells they are snappy as are most small dogs.
there are way too many to list. do you want a big dog or a small dog? a puppy or an adult? if you want a big dog there are alot of gentle giants out there such as a great dane or a great pyranese. a medium sized dog thats good with kids? how about a collie or a setter? a small dog? a shitz zu or a pekenese. there are many more. a collie or a setter would prolly be the most tolerant and gentle to a baby.
Labrador Retrievers make good pet dog for young children. They are docile, protective and love children. They are dogs you can trust around your child. we had one for 18 years ,and he was very good with our kids.
A stuffed teddy... People often want to raise baby with dog.. and lots of times people have wonderfully fond memories and stories about the dog the grew up with. But honestly it is alot of work to raise a dog properly, housetraining, obedience training, crate training, socialization, etc. I would wait til baby is 5 and not a baby and can be taught to be respectful of animals and dog's ears and tails and other things. Enjoy your baby and add puppy when baby leaves for school and you suddenly find yourself with time to kill and need someone else to care for and raise like a baby..

Or do what you want, you likely will anyhow... :(
Well hopefully this is going to be your dog, as a 2-year old is totally incapable of caring for a dog.

That said, a Golden Retriever or Labrador is the best for around kids. They are sweet natured, and when mature are strong enough and built well enough to handle the rough play a toddler can put them through. They are naturally protective, and adore children. Be careful to find a reputable breeder, goldens are prone to hip dysplasia (as are many big dogs)and epilepsy. Grand Pyrenees are also excellent dogs for kids. There are tons of good websites for information about these dogs.

Before you buy a purebred though, please consider adopting through your local animal shelter. There are so many great dogs gassed every year for lack of good homes, and many of them are labs or lab mixes. If you're worried about the dog's past, get a puppy and let them grow up together. I can honestly say the best dogs I've had have been rescue dogs. Mixed breeds are also less prone to the genetic predispositions (see above, dysplasia, etc) and skin problems than pure-bred dogs. So they can be a lot cheaper in both the short and long run.

Good luck.
A stuffed one. Seriously 2 yr is too young to have a dog. Wait until he is a little older. Everyone will be happier.
Labrador Retrievers they are the most fun loving, affectionate, devoted, intelligent (easy to train) versatile dogs. My nephews and nieces do whatever they want to my Labs and they just take it all in stride. When I babysit the infants my Labs watch them and when they cry the dogs come get me. My 5 month niece pulls my Labs nose and ears and he just sits there. With the 2 two year olds both Labs get the brunt of the "terrible twos" and they have no problems taking it. Labs are just VERY loving and devoted to their people.
we just bought out 2 year old a Black lab they get along great, and they don't have a aggressive temperament like rottweilers CAN have. We have both but the lab is best for a 2 year old
you know, I would try a lab or a retriever, they tend to be very mellow considerate dogs, and if they are pups and grow up with her, they wont bother her at all, but make sure when you go to get a pup, that you bring your little one with you and make sure they get along and she isn't afraid of it!
