What is the best dog food for overweight dogs that they like?

i tried all diet foods and they hate them. they are used to mighty dog or cal kan that made them obese
Answers:
If your dogs are "obese", I think you might want to ask your vet what course of action to take. Overweight dogs are prone to developing diabetes, arthritis and other life-long issues. If your dogs get hungry enough, they will eat what you feed them. The goal is to have them not want to eat so much. Good luck!
It might not be necessary to change the food. Just cut the quantity of food and increase their exercise. They'll lose weight.

Of course my best advice is put them on an evolutionary diet. No commercial dog food.

Investigate this by finding info on the internet. Here's a good place to start: http://www.drianbillinghurst.com/. There are plenty of other sites too.
Doesn't matter what kind as long as it's a nutritionally complete food like Science Diet r/D. I worked in animal hospitals and vet clinics for over 10 years. I've never, ever, seen a dog that wouldn't eat the diet dog food. If your dogs are overweight, then not eating for a little bit isn't going to kill them. Just leave the food out for a while. Make sure they've got plenty of water. Only put a little bit of food out, like a few pieces. Count the pieces, then if they are eating it, you'll know for sure.
On every bag of dog food there's a recommended serving. Number one: don't buy crappy dog food. Go get some of the good stuff.
Number two: forget the recommended serving. They're in the business of selling dog food. Cut it in half.
Number three: Get your dog on a leash and take a walk everyday for about 15-20 minutes.

All else fails, talk to your vet.
It's not really necessary to feed diet food. Just cut back on the amount you are feeding and make sure they get more exercise.
If your dog is overweight first make sure the dog getting enough exercise because of course the dog not because he is overweight. But right after you walk or run with the dog, then give him some food; in the food it will be a mix of dry food (keep the same kind) and something liquid (gravy or oil you cooked with that has some favor) with it all so like the dog is getting a treat or something.

hopefully that help.
But don't worry the dog will eat just not right away, believe made not the first day but definity the second day. Trust me!!!
My basset hound really seemed to enjoy Pedigree Weight Maintenance Formula. Not too expensive for a larger bag, and he eats it. And a plus...Pedigree is not on the recall list, so it is safe to feed your dog.
I haven't tried it personally, but Canidae makes a senior/overweight dog food, and my dog adores Canidae. Canidae is a great food, and I'm sure that the other formula is just as good.
how about exercising your dogs to help them loose weight instead of trying to change their food?
