Im looking for a breed that is:
- small-medium in size, does NOT shed, easy-fairly easy to train, friendly.
Any suggestions?
Answers:
We have 3 Shih Tzus. Most people dont know they do not shed. They have actual hair folicles and not fur. They are extremely loving and smart. If you want a dog that will follow you everywhere and greet you at the door like a rock star, then get a Shih Tzu.
definetly to me the maltese or toy poodle, both fluffy and cute
yorkie, chihuahua, or a poodle
i alwas pick the little ones because it don't take as long to cook them and they taste better
Shi-tzu they r the most friendly dogs ever they r kind and most like kids - the train somewat easily and the are small mediumsized lol they do not normally shed in the spring time they may shed a little but it is not bad at all - just a little tiny bit i highly recommend a Shi-tzu
Definitley
A Pug Or a French Bulldog!
There are so carring!
I have them And they are really adoriblie.
Having a Dog really depends On what type Of house or apt. you live in.
I LOVE GREAT DANES: THER R REALLY BIG BEAGLES:HAVE THE BIGGEST HEART(VERY LOVEABLE):WEINNER DOGS:SMALL CUTE JUST SHORT THINGS ABOUT WHY THEY ROCK HOPE U GET ALL:)
All dogs shed to some degree, no matter what. A few that shed very little are;
Bichon Frise
Poodle (Toy, Miniature %26 Standard size)
Shih Tzu
Maltese
Kerryblue Terrier
Out of those, I would think that they are all friendly (Shih Tzu %26 Maltese not recommended if you have kids) but the Poodle is probably the easiest to train.
I would suggest a Poodle or a Poodle mix. They are the most intelligent breed and are hypoallergenic (less dander, less shedding). Mixed breeds are becoming increasingly popular and have their benefits, maybe consider a Poodle mix or any of the following as purebreds or mixes:
Bichon Frise
Cairn Terrier
Lhasa Apso
Shih Tzu
havanese
they were the breed the kings and queens would get
i have one
they do not shed are adorable have an amazing personality
and extremely smart
my dog coco jumps through hoops scratches a bell when he has to go potty and does an entire show
they are the BEST dogs of all
900$ in price but coco is the best buy of the last decade
i would NOT be cheap on your dog this mate will be with you for the next 10 years of your life! and there are only about 8 ten years of your life!
I would agree about the maltese.
Other suggestions are bichon frise, yorkie.
No matter what though please make sure the breed fits into your lifestyle don't just go by looks, coat etc. Therefore the best dog to pick is the breed that fits into your lifestyle.
Most, if not all, dog breeds were bred for a purpose so if you end up with one that was bred to run all day in the fields you better be ready to do some exercise. Trust me if you don't give them something to do they will find something to get into. Good luck.
Get a miniature or toy poodle. Or a Bichon Frise.
I have a small boxer, which is like a medium sized dog, she is so adorable and wierdly human-like, she is very energetic but she cuddles alot too. Boxers are also the friendliest dogs I've ever come across, they really love people.
I suggest you visit http://www.dogsvets.net and consult a breed expert for free
my mom is allergic to dogs but she really wanted one and so she has had a pug and a border terrier. they both do not shed very much, are smallish-sized, and are very cute!
